Do you frequently go through your closet and think you have nothing to wear? Or maybe you flat out just hate your wardrobe.
Here are 3 reasons why you hate what's in your closet:
1. You Want to Try A Different Look
How many of us have been there? You've spent hours and hours on Pinterest looking up a certain fashion style whether it's Bohemian, Classy/Classic/Sophisticated, Casual, etc. and wanted your wardrobe to resemble that look. In other words, you want to try something new because your sense of style has grown. Alas, your wardrobe is filled with clothes that don't fit your growth and changing style personality.
Quick Fix: Start buying the clothes you want in your wardrobe now. It doesn't have to be all at once. It can be a little at a time.

2. You Keep Old Items You No Longer Want or that Don't Suit Your Style
On the same token, you may have started to change your wardrobe based on a newfound sense of style but you're self-sabotaging by keeping the old items you don't like anymore. You may say to yourself "it still fits" or "it's in good shape"but you need to ask yourself the following questions:
A. Do I need it for work (or anywhere else)?
- If you don't, then you may not need it.
B. Could I switch this item out for another item I'll like more?
- This is another good option if the item you want to throw away serves a particular purpose. For ex. A lumpy sweater that's cozy but clashes with your polished dresses can be replaced with a thick but sophisticated blazer or cardigan.
Quick Fix: It's time to let those go. The clothes you no longer want may be the jewel of someone else's closet.

3. You Aren't Dressing for Yourself
Oh my gosh - this is a HUGE pet-peeve for me. While it's normal to buy fad items or to take inspiration from things you've seen online, in magazines or on a friend it's a completely DIFFERENT story if you completely remodel yourself on other people's looks. You shouldn't be a carbon copy of your friends. Individual people have individual senses of style. This means that just because all of the other people in your friend group wear their glasses on their heads with sassy little fringe boots doesn't mean you have to.
Quick Fix: Go to a store and find clothes you like. If anyone dislikes you for your choice in fashion, it's their problem.
Ladies, you are BEAUTIFUL. God made you to be you.
